funny wheek ?

one of my boys wheeks all the time for food but the other one does not seem to any where near as much. a couple of days ago and again today i heard him make a sort of half wheek/squeek a bit like if you tried to sing while you had a sore throat while he was running around.
its not non stop so i dont think its a chest infection etc plus he is eating,playing,pooing and being a little cheeky boy all the time but i just wondered if some guinea pigs make funny noises for no real reason.

ps just went home to double check on him and he is making all the other noises a naughty little boy should make, squeaks, rumbles and grunts etc,i did stick my ear to his body and heard no wheezing etc then listened to his breathing while he was running about and again no wheezing etc, i think maybe its just one of his noises !

Piggies do make a multitude of noise's. Anything out of the ordinary that continues should be checked out at the vets. Look out for clicking or hooting sounds...

Sometime's piggies just get a bit of dust up their nose and this can cause them to make a strange noise but it normally clears quite quickly. Please keep an eye on your piggie and should the strange noise return it may be worth contacting your vet to put your mind at rest.

Hi love it is soooo hard to know when they're not well etc.. SIGH they do dam well to hide it!
I am so happy tho that you made your first post, you were concerned and then posted back that you think it's normal.......at least now you'll know what your piggies sounds are.....if at all you're concerned again.........please post again
