I have just taken Maisie out for cuddles and have noticed on the very end of her nose (just above the nostril) that there is a very small scabby area. Its is probably about 3mm in diameter slightly raised, pale yellow in colour. It almost looks like the texture of a cauliflower floret. I've washed it and it hasn't come off. There is no red/inflamed skin or hair loss surrounding it. Any ideas? She's off to the vets Monday or Tuesday to get it checked out. (sorry no photos available). Many Thanks.

Does it look similar to this? My boy sweep had cheilitis in this pic, a fungal infection relatively easy to treat.

Thanks for the quick reply. It doesn't look like that. Its almost the same colour as a primrose and circular in shape.
