I've two guinea pigs. Both 2 years and 2 months old. One of them is getting a darker patch of fur suddenly. There are no nutritional deficiencies and no underlying diseases. He is extremely energetic, eating well, and sleeping well. What do I do? I'm really worried.

Colour changes, in a few cases more dramatic than others, can happen. This is caused by genes and is not in an way illness or diet related.

It happens occasionally and is nothing to worry about; it's just a genetic quirk.
