Noticed that Peanut has lost fur on the inside of his legs and the skin there is quite red and also sort of sweaty? One side is worse than the other.
Is this normal and I’ve just never noticed it? My other pigs have all had dark skin, not pink so perhaps that would make it more noticeable?
He’s currently on baytril for an unknown bladder issue.
Do I need to schedule a vet trip? I have exams tomorrow and Wednesday so I won’t be able to make it to a vet as I’m out 12-5pm and the vet itself is an hour away from me. So, is this something that would be able to wait until Thursday?
Thanks!

Hi!
It could be rather from lying in his urine that he currently produces abundantly?
In any case, it is not an emrgency; just ask your vet the next time you see them. ;)

Phew, that’s good to know. Thank you for your response. I had wondered if it could be from his pee, but with it being between his leg/belly I wasn’t sure.
Thanks again! :)
