Adult Guinea Pig
does anyone know why my guinea pig is losing her fur, under and around her neck etc, my other guinea pig is not losing fur. and they share the same cage. any advice ?

It could be mange mites, or fungal possibly but she needs a vet to diagnose. Do you have any photos? does the skin look fluoresced? Does it come out easily if tugged gently?
Please post pictures.
Vet check required to rule out mites/lice and tother skin infections. Also given it is under her chin pehaps there may be an abcess causing irritation

I am putting a anti - bactie powder on her that helps. but it only happen when we had that very hot weather !, I will have to take her to a vet to
