Hi there everyone,
I have noticed my girls are moulting a lot at the moment , i am curious to know how often piggies moult, does anyone have any idea.?

Some guinea pigs moult, often during seasonal changes, others don't do it much often depends on the pig

I've had my boys for a year and yes my abbyssian sheds a lot but not the other one so I really don't know lol

Mine shed ALOT at the end of the summer as their new winter coat is coming through I have outside piggies and they need to change from their little summer frocks (girls) and T shirt and shorts (boys) into their winter jimjams.

Ugh... mine will shed in the spring, and do not for the life of me understand how animals who live indoors know when it's spring! They shed a bit all the time, but in the spring you can pat a guinea pig and end up with a guinea-pig-sized ball of hair stuck to your hand by the time you're done!
