I noticed today that my two longer haired guinea pig boars tend to get bits of fur stuck in their private parts. Everything looks normal apart from this. Is this something to be concerned about?

Any thoughts?
 
It happens regularly when piggy scent mark by rubbing their bums on the ground. Please check the privates weekly (especially boy's bits) and gently remove them.

Giving them a trim around their bum if they are really long haired helps too. It just makes it easier to keep tidy.
