Furbabies' Adventures

Pino has finished his course of antibiotics to battle the streptococci on Wednesday morning.
And the girls have started their course of antibiotics today. (I was on a work trip these last two days and didn't want my mum to have to give out any meds. So we started today.)

Pino is doing good so far. He is exploring my flat during floor time, loves to help with spot cleaning and is an absolute nightmare to hold even for a short time.
Vicky likes the taste of the antibiotic, Kylie not so much. But they both seem to appreciate the extra attention.
And Pino looked as if he was disappointed that he doesn't get it any more.

Guinea pigs! :no: You wouldn't believe it.

Pino is fine. His weight is 820 g which is a good weight for him. I would love to see him gain more weight but he is very active and not really that interested in food so I'm happy to have him above 800 g.

The relationship between Kylie and Pino is still a bit difficult, but Kylie just isn't a very nice piggy. She also annoys Vicky so it's not just between Pino and her.
I'm not happy about the overall group dynamics at the moment but they seem to get along. So I just have to see what the future will bring.

That training …being a diva and not nice has clearly worked ….. I think tho Kylie might have taken it too far 😂

She is a sweet girl when it comes to human interaction ... at least most of the time.

I'm still not completely satisfied that everything is okay with my piggies. Vicky seems very subdued, Kylie is Kylie ... and Pino, well he is a sweetheart but I'm never really sure if he runs away from Kylie or just ignores her.
Anyway, I've rearranged their cage a bit. Maybe a touch of new environment will help.
So far it's okay but I've been out all day. I'll get a better impression tomorrow and on Sunday.
