The continuing heatwaves here have been pretty horrible too, but it sounds even worse over in Europe 🥵🥵 Last Thursday was probably the worse so far for us, 37degrees and then a hot, still night which made sleep very difficult.
I wish it would end!

I think it's always worst if the nights stay warm. You can get through the heat of the day somehow but hot nights are a complete nightmare.
So many people will be happy when this summer's extreme heat will come to an end.
Not counting the damage to nature and wildlife - even without fires.

It’s much cooler here today and we even had a bit of rain this morning.
Not enough to make a difference but at least it’s more comfortable now.
We have rain forecast next week. 🎉

I heard on one of the radio’s farming programmes that fruit growers are finding cooked apples on the trees as it’s been so hot 🥵

Yes, thankfully!
Friday has been awful and we had a huge thunderstorm during the night. But Saturday has been a very windy, but otherwise pleasant day. And this night has been refreshingly cool.
 
Vicky is back at the vet tomorrow. I'm not very optimistic that she can help. My gut feeling tells me that it's a miracle I'm hoping for. But of course I hope that I'm wrong and that the vet will find something treatable.
Unfortunately it will be hot again tomorrow but my vet doesn't work today (or did yesterday evening). I'm really fed up with the weather this summer.

Vicky is still eating but more selectively every day. And of course the others with their (luckily) healthy appetites are not helpful.
She is interested in food but when I give her a piece of veggy, she just sniffs at it and goes away.
It's not her teath though. Not only because they were checked last Friday but also because she is eating fine if she likes something.
 
It's ridicoulus how much chaos two little girls can cause.
I've always had free-roaming piggies and I'm used to have bedding and hay all around but these two give the word chaos a whole new meaning. 😂
