No, it has cooled down. We had a rather chilly day today with only 26°C. 😂
But the heat will build up again in the course of the next week.
And though I try to get the cooler air into my flat, we're still at 26°C indoors. I'm hoping to bring the temperature down a bit more before it gets hot again.
 
Around here the next heat wave is starting but luckily we had some cooler days in between. Not that my flat cooled down that much despite my efforts but it's very comfortable at the moment. And I just hope the next heat wave won't be as bad as the last one.

The cooling houses should arrive sometime next week. That will help a lot.
And I also hope to trick the piggies into using the new fleece cover for a small ice pod.
I put one without the ice pod into the cage yesterday and Vicky loves it.

She spent most of the time on it since I put it inside.
I bought two originally to be able to swap them. But with this heavy usage I'll need to get two more.
I'm very curious if she will go near it when it contains an ice pod.
 
We have got big news! 🥳
As some if you might know, I've been thinking of adding a baby girl to my group. I've been looking around just a tiny little bit.
And I saw an adorable baby girl but she was already taken. So okay ... I wasn't in a rush.
But the summer heat is taking it's toll on Vicky. So I just had a tiny glimpse sometime later.
And the baby girl was free again, as well as her sister.

I wasn't planning on adopting two but when I sent my enquiry and explained about Kylie, the lady suggested to take both. :yikes:
So I thought it through, had a chat with my friend that usually pigsits when I'm on holiday and of course my mum who is always my backup. Also another friend.
And they all said to go for it. 🙈
So my group has grown again.

They are a little older than 2 months and utterly adorable.
 
The first introduction went smoothly but of course Kylie is Kylie and loves to chase and bum nip. So nothing new.
She goes after Chinchi most of the time.

Pino was a bit overwhelmed at first but he is slowly getting used to the situation.

Vicky isn't very impressed either. Baby pigs trying to steal her food are not her idea of good manners or acceptable behaviour.
