I think I have actually seen it during "17 Again" previews. I doubt I will go to the theater to see it...too many kids there :p
 
Yeah we've been watching this since the summer haha the girl in it is like my Logan! :(|)
 
yeah seen this, its worrying though, as I imagine every child is now going to want a guinea pig ...... for a weeks until they get fed up with them :(
 
I'm dreading it - while I want to see the film, looks fab - I do worry about the effect on children wanting guinea pigs that will then be abandoned when the short-term novelty wears off :( - it's like when Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles came out, everyone went and bought cute little terrapins who then turned into huge ones and needed bigger tanks and lots then got dumped in rivers etc.

I just hope it's marketed responsibly

I agree guys, it won't be marketed properley it never is! People were going into shops and asking for Nemo fish! The shop we use to get our aquatics from put a sign up saying anyone asking for nemos will not be sold to!

I've decided I'm not taking any guinea pigs in from July to August unless it is a dire emergency. Hopefully by the time the autumn comes the novelty will have worn off and we will be left to pick up the pieces!

Can't help feeling a little disguisted by Disney! Of course my girls love it and are excited about it.
 
Great idea. Maybe mass posters in vets! Would be nice if Disney could put a little note at the end of the film before the end credits or at the start! Doubt that will happen though!
 
I agree with you also but hopefully if disney do put a note at the end of the film there parents would also say no. Any way just thought i`d share this with you all as it looks funny :) :)
