General Feeding Question

Hi every one.

Just a quick question on feeding i tend to keep there hay full but was wondering wether people keep there dry food mix full ? or let it run out and top it up as needed ? just a bit worried i am over feeding them as some friends who have them say there piggies are squeaking in the morning for there food but Ronnie and Reggie don't tent to as there is always food for them.

Just being a over worried piggies parent again :D
 
I tend to fill the dishes up when it is needed.My piggies always squeek for their veggies morning and night ;D
 
My piggys squeek whenever they hear me open the door whether it is food time or not ;D ;D

I always make sure mine have dried food but I don't necessarily fill the bowl to the top. Mine like to use their bowls as toilets and I would end up throwing loads away so I tend to top up little and often. I give veggies twice a day.

Mine always have loads of different hays/grasses to munch on as well.

Mine are getting quite partial to a alpine hay mix ;D its gone in minutes, I have looked around before to see if they had hidden it LOL...

When i had 2, they used to do this. When we took them to their boarding home for their holiday, the woman said they were spoilt! oops.

I always empty out old dry food everyday. Clo gets so much vege, hay & treats, she doesn't eat that much dry food (just under half a bowl..but it is a big bowl lol)
 
mine have food shutes so as they eat it i just top it up at the top, which I do morning and evening they always have hay and its topped up again morning and evening, veggies get fed morning,
 
mine squeak like mad regardless weather its food time ! lottie always has to have her say (was a tiny hand reared piggie , now a pudgy porker !) & some of my boy groups are complete drama queens ! sorry i degressed ! i tend to top mine up twice a day on top of greens & hay ect, but clean them out each morning as i have a few that seem to sleep in there bowls ! ::) and probley wee as well as sometimes i notice the food's a bit sogy x8)
err michelle could you tell me more about youre shutes? I'm about to re -design my shed & purchase another, so always looking for idea's ! :)
