General Guinea Pig Questions

I have one guinea pig right now, and I'm trying to take the absolute best care of her that I can. I've bought her a feeder that is attached to the cage so she cant knock it over and spill food all over the cage. I've bought her NUMEROUS wooden chew toys for her teeth. She has a cardboard tube that she likes to bite and hide in. I also bought her a ball but she sits in it and doesn't run around... If anyone else has any suggestions of things their piggies like... I'd LOVE to know!

The best thing you can do for her is to get her a friend. Guinea pigs are social animals and should never be kept alone. She will be very lonely.

Getting her a friend will definatly make her happier.

The basic things they definatly need are
Hay
Pellet/musli food
1 cup of fresh veg per days.

If she has a good sized cage (120cmx60cms), and all those things your doing well.

Piggies love to play with cheap toys. Paper bags, folded up newspapers, toilet roll insides stuffed with hay.
