George - RIP

George died peacefully in his sleep last night after a short illness. He had been to the vets and was diagnosed with a lump inside him, which was likley to be cancer. We decided not to put him through a major operation, as it didn't seem fair on him. He has been buried in the garden and the children have made a nice gravestone and put flowers on his grave.8... :(

He was around 3 and had only been with us for 18 months, but was a character and would only be handled / stroked on his terms. x)

RIP George, run free over the bridge and we will look for you as you burn brightly as a star on planet guinea tonight.

Love you always, meet again one day when the time is right.

I am so sorry that you lost your beloved George!

It doesn't count how long you've had him - he was a great character and will leave a big hole in your heart... And hopefully loads of special memories!

So sorry to hear you have lost George. He obviously meant a lot to you and your family and I know how much you will miss him. Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweet George and watch over your family who are missing you very much..

Carrie, I'm so very sorry, I think this is George the Ginger Pig from Sue at Southampton Rescue isn't it? If it is I clearly remember him and his thread on here. xx
