My poor baby George was getting pets and both my guinea pigs like to stop halfway and provide hand licks as appreciation apparently we noticed George doesn’t know how to nibble very well as is so when he nibbles it’s a little harder but doesn’t hurt too bad except he got carried away and bit down a chunk off my thumb and froze and when he smelled the blood that poured out started squeaking and ran to my lap does this mean he felt bad? That’s what I’m thinking atleast he hasn’t tried to bite to nibble since just licks. I felt bad for him lol.

Oh bless him. Sounds to me like he felt bad. I had one piggie bite me accidentally (long haired and while grooming snagged a knot which made him jump and bite me) and he looked incredibly guilty over it. I think They can tell.
