Georgies eye didn’t look right yesterday and it looked like he was closing it a bit so I’ve got him booked in the vets at 3.15 today.Only thing is it looks fine now lol so I hope they don’t think I’m over anxious.Me and Georgie and Guiseppe are just waiting for the bus now, gonna do a little bit of shopping 1st.Ill probably get some strange looks walking round with 2 guinea pigs ha ha.
 
A while ago I booked Velvet in at the vets cos she had some hay caught in her eye that I managed to get out and I was worried about hay poke. The vet had a good look at her eye and found a seed head embedding into the soft skin at the bottom of her eye :yikes:which he got out with the assistance of a vet nurse, a pair of forceps and a very steady hand! I had to put in isathal eye drops for a week and then everything was fine. Let us know how Georgie got on and how your shopping trip went with your 2 piggies.

He’s got conjunctivitis so lucky I took him.He was squeaking his head off in Superdrug so I was a bit embarrassed lol.
 
Always worth a visit to the vet if you are not sure. Ginger had hay in his eye which i thought i had got out but i took him to the vet anyway. She found some more in there and also that he had a small scratch to his eye. Antibiotics eye drops for a week which have cleared it up.
