I think Gertie has turned a corner tonight. We usually had to lift her into her run as she would not climb out of her cage but Ross had to leave her running round the living room today (she can jump INTO her cage) as she would not go back in before he went to work. Anyway I think she has had all day to work it out and so after a run tonight I thought she had gone to bed but all of a sudden out she jumps into her run and out into the living room and has been running about ever since. Here are a couple of pics, the first is of her reaction when I picked her up first of all.

On a sad note I found out today that one of the babies we were hoping to adopt from Hillsbrooke has passed away. She was a little girl and her brother passed away too. Is so sad, poor little babies. Will need to think again for a companion for Gertie.

Is so so sad, RIP little babies, play well together at the bridge.
