One of our adopters emailed this morning to let me know that sweet Gertrude, adopted last year, has passed away after a short mystery illness.
They and us are incredibly sad, she was a sweet but determined lady, with a beautiful 'shark fin', who's family and best buddy Dotty are missing her very much.
Her adopted Dad was with her to the end, and she passed peacefully to the bridge.

Rest in peace, sweet Gertie - your little angel wings were ready before we were xxxxx
