This morning during floortime (on a wooden floor), I noticed some blood on the floor. Immediately checked my one year old piggie, Cluster. There was some blood round one of his front paws. Washed it off, tried to check him again but no, he was having none of it, seeming perfectly happy and his normal self. Put him back in his cage while I cleaned up the blood (there was a fair bit) and checked the area. Didn't find anything.

A few hours later, he's not his normal self. He does usually have quiet moments, just not many of them. He's shaking a bit and grinding his teeth, not putting much weight on the bloody paw from earlier. Should I get him to a vet? Will there be any open over the bank holiday?!

There are emergency vets open - call your normal surgery and there should be an automated message for instructions.
I would certainly take him, if it's an injury he must be in pain and be seen :( The blood is an indication of something wrong, if he has no obvious injuries, he may have a urine infection.
Keep us updated and hope your little one is ok x>>

Just to add that grinding his teeth is a symptom of pain :(

Thanks so much for your advise. Got him to the vet, he'd damaged his paw, must have happened when he was playing as he was fine before that. He's going to be fine, I have a cream to put on his paw twice a day and he's slowly getting back to his old self.
