Getting a new guinea pig

Hi

I currently have a 1 year old boar. His friend was put to sleep over 4 weeks ago.
This last week we have been looking for a friend. Checking all local rescue even pets at home. And no single boars available.

My sister message me about a website called pets 4 home. Has anyone used this before?

I'm sorry for your loss.
I used Pets4Homes to find my hamster, but coincidentally the person I contacted was also a family friend.
It's very easy to use, just naturally make sure you follow the usual online safety rules and be extra careful about piggy illnesses- you can't guarantee you'll get a healthy pig.

One option you may like to consider, if you haven’t already, is to neuter your boy.
He can then live with sows after his 6 week safety wait.
This offers you more possibilities.

Have you emailed any rescues, they usually have lots of singles, it’s just that they don’t display them for adoption as singles. Explain you have a bereaved boar who is struggling and needs a little friend, they may offer boar dating
