My girl Sookie is recovering from a dental issue, she had her teeth filed on wednesday morning and is starting to eat food again and improving little by little. Her personality is completely back to normal but so far all she will eat is a bit of sliced/grated veg and hay (not enough to keep her weight stable so I'm still having to syringe feed) I'm really wanting to get her off the syringe food and interested in grain again but she has no interest in it at all anymore. I'm trying mixing some softened pellets with oats and some chopped up veg hoping this will encourage her but so far she's turned her nose up at it :/
I know it will take time for her to get back to normal, I hope I'm not getting too anxious and impatient but I just want my girl to be back to normal, she no longer likes being picked up because she knows it means syringe feeding. :(
I could really use some advice. Wondering if anyone has any tips to getting her interested in grain again.

I don't have any experience but could you try crushing it into a dust almost and putting over her food so she gets the taste of it back slowly ?
