This means that the good stuff going in over the past couple of days has finally worked its way to the end. Just within the past half hour Salvatore has begun depositing piles of rich, dark green, moist, large poops, and I do mean piles. Earlier today they were small, hard, beige things that looked like the food pellets. I took a food inventory and lo and behold, all the carrot sticks were gone, and there was only a tiny lump of beet remaining (do you across the sea call it beetroot?). The water level in his bottle is going down, and I am so glad he finally figured out that vegetables are food as well as the pellets. I'm now waiting for the purple poop from eating beets. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Whoop whoop....!
Hats off to you... With out your hard work sal wouldn't be doing so well....!
Come on sal keep up the good work...!

oooooooh Pat that's brilliant news............. doing a little dance for little Sal x)x)x)

yeah in OZ whee call it beetroot too......... the girls adored and i mean adored their beetroot (don't give the leaves from what i know!) it makes their quiff/aka hair so soft and sleek and also their poops can have a pink tinge :{

Well done little Sal. Enjoy your many veggietibbles as they will make you big and strong.

Round of applause Pat for being a guinea pig saviour once more. Counting piles of poos isn't mad, it's dedication!
