Getting Pi A (neutered) Boyfriend Tomorrow Eek

[Patch & Pi]

So after we lost Patch a few weeks ago we have been attempting to find Pi a companion. after a exhaustive hunt we have had contacted loads of rescues, but unfortunately we had been unsuccessful. 3 counties and no luck. today we decided to call round the rescues again, and 1 recommended another rescue which was out of our original search area we rang and Pi is now going speed dating tomorrow to meet some males, and assistance with the bonding in the hope she will find her a new friend. we are nervous but excited by this new adventure but also sad as we still miss Patch, its only been 2 weeks but the stress of being on her own is taking its toll on Pi so are grief is taking a back seat to Pi's need.

Best of luck! Speed dating with sows usually works, as acceptance ideally happens within 15 minutes of meeting and you usually see quite quickly whether the chemistry is right. Cross gender bonds can be very loving. I have done this with bereaved sows of mine. The choice of boy may surprise you (or not), but it will mean two very happy pigs you won't have to worry about.
