Getting read for a new piggy!

Well things are looking good our our lone piggy twiglet after contacting various rescues and other places, it seems as though we will be able to get twiggy matched up with another boar from Woodgreen Animal Shelter in Heydon. Due to our run being too small we have had to upgrade and buy a new 6ft 4 ft run which twiggy and his new friend. (Haven't taken him there yet) can run around in too their hearts content, obviously only when we are at home. So here it is with twiglet giving it a go!



And here is the hutch with the old run which we are hoping to bolt together so when we are not here they will have a much bigger area to run about in.



And heres one of twiggy just because he is so cute, keeping his beady eyes on me as always!



I will get another house for his new cagemate and a bigger house for them both to be in along with another bowl to help them settle in together.

Just waiting for the call back from Woodgreen and then I can take him hopefully in the next 2 weeks.
 
So exciting! Twiglet is sooooooo beautiful x)

Hope the bonding goes well! really looking forward to hearing how it goes.
 
Awwww Thsnkyou. I adore him and think he is mr rodent perfect! (I know we all say that about our pets but he is) never thought I could love a little brown ball of fluff so much! Still think about coco : (

We never stop missing our piggies that leave us and Coco will stay in your heart forever. You won't be replacing Coco with a new piggie but you will be helping Twiggy by getting him a friend. x x
 
I agree they leave their little prints in our hearts and will always be with us, Coco would want Twiglet to have a friend x
 
Thanks guys : ) I know he will be happier when he has a new friend. Mind you he's such a little terror when there were the 2 of them do be interesting if he becomes very dominant again. He never hurt coco just followed him everywhere!

So everything has been approved by woodgreen so me and twiggy are off to see whether they can match him with a new piglet. x
 
Thanks Kirsty, were off tommorrow morning nice and early. He will have to have his brekkie en route xx
 
And so twiglet has a new friend and I've called him Red! He's a very spirited 10 month old boy who will definitely give twiglet a run for his money as he is quite an active piggy and quite a small little fella. He hasn't had a great start being part of a 200 guinea pig rescue but now we can give him a lovely forever home and am looking forward to you all meeting him. Soooooo here he is!
