Adult Guinea Pig
Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been commented on...
Has anyone seen the gorgeous giant guinea pigs on Ant & Dec's new "Push The Button" gameshow? (They're people dressed up in guinea pig costumes, acting out the games to demonstrate how they should be played. They look so cute!)
I know it's just for fun, but on a serious note I really hope this doesn't encourage people to buy pigs as pets, on a whim, only to be abandoned a short while down the line when the novelty's worn off....that would be awful.
Anyway those costumes are fab. Was thinking it might be worth those of you who are associated with GP rescues trying to get in touch with Ant & Dec or the show's production company to put in a request for them to donate the costumes to your worthy causes when they're finished with them (if still in good condition!). Assuming that you don't have any qualms about their use of these furry mascots in the show, these costumes would be fab for publicity/fundraising events and open days etc. Just a thought....you never know, could be worth a try?
