Here are a few pigtures of my beloved piggies, Ginger and Noggin.
Sadly Ginger will soon be departing this world and crossing rainbow bridge. So before he leaves I thought I would share a few pictures of him and Noggin who I adopted from Honeybunnies last November. Ginger was my first piggy, adopted from the RSPCA two years ago. He is the piggy that has stolen my heart...8...

Thank you Sue. When I adopted Ginger 2 years ago the RSPCA estimated his age to be around 3 years. However, I suspect he may have been a good bit older than this. I took Ginger to the vets this morning as he had lost his appetite over the last few days until I had to resort to cutting grass for him. He has lost weight, now weighing 750g (his semi-long hair makes him look bigger than he actually is). He is drinking excessively and the vet feels that his kidneys are failing. He doesn't appear to be in pain, but is sleeping most of the time. I hope that he will depart peacefully and I won't have to make the decision to have him PTS. When I got him he had never been handled despite his age and was almost wild. He's come such a long way and will now happily sit and be cuddled and is easy to handle. To me he's a very special piggy...

They are both lovely piggies, sorry to hear Ginger is poorly :(

Aww there gorgeous, so sorry your boy is unwell.
Just remember he has had a good life with you and you are a wonderful piggy mummy x

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. Ginger is still here but cannot be tempted even with grass this morning. I managed to get him to take a tiny amount of water but he is just lying quietly in his house waiting to slip away 8...

So sorry about Ginger. Its always difficult when you have a little one who is extremely ill but at least he is with you and when the time comes the rainbow bridge angels will come to guide him to rainbow bridge. You are doing a wonderful job looking after him and are obviously a very good piggy mummy. Thoughts are with you and Ginger.

aww I am so sorry he's unwell, he looks lovely and surely will be missed
