Hey,

Some of you may have read my post the other day about Ginger, I'm incredibley shocked how quickly his illness took hold of him and unfournatley even though he eating and drinking and taking his medication, he was getting weaker and weaker since sunday. About 5.30 today he had a seizure which was very quick however afterwards he could no longer be in control of his body, he kept twitching and dribbling and was squealing in pain, he's breathing was incredibley laboured and i could see he was suffering. I got straight on to the phone to the vet she saw us as an emergency, when we got there Rosario was also incredibley sad and she said the kindest thing to do for my poor little pain was to put him to sleep to stop his suffering.

I feel awful and can't stop crying but he was in so much pain and so weak and i didn't which to let him die from suffering. I see him as a little miracle when he was born he was less than 50g, he may of been little but he was full of character, he was so sweet and loving. We did everything we could to give this little man the best life he could, i hope his happy and at peace now.

So sorry for your loss. Sometimes helping them on their way to the RB is the kindest thing to do but it's the hardest part of responsible pet ownership. You clearly loved your little fellow dearly and he was such a cutie. Popcorn free little man. Hugs to you xx

What a gorgeous piggy he was.
Please don't feel bad about taking the decision on putting him to sleep, having in mind what was happening to him, that was the best choice. Not the easiest I'm sure, but definitely the best one you could have made.
Big hugs to you, and I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

Popcorn free Ginger x

I am so sorry for your loss. Helping them across the bridge is often the last act of love we can ever do and is such a brave choice to make. You were there for him when he needed you the most. He was such a beautiful lad. Huge hugs to you

Sleep well little one

RIP Ginger

:( Oh gosh, what a little sweetie he was. So sorry he had such a short life. They always leave us far too soon. :bye::bye:

I am so sorry that you have lost your cutie boy so quickly. Sometimes, the speed can be truly horrifying. You feel like you are always one or two steps behind. :(

RIP Ginger - much loved and much missed!

Oh gosh, he really was absolutely gorgeous, what a little stunner.
And a character to match I think.
I'm really sorry he lost his fight, it's so very sad, especially in one so young.
Huge hugs to you :hug:x
