Hi! Until Saturday just gone, I had a 7 year old sow (the boss who sleeps all the time, so not a problem), a 3 year old sow who was like Big Sis and second in command, and two ten month old girls purchased as babies from the same litter. The two babies have never shared a house and are inclined not to mix much with each other, except for the odd teeth chatter if cornered by the other. To this day, they seem to have the same level of dominance, and I can't tell who is the boss of the two. Sadly, I lost the three year old on Saturday , and since that time, the two babies are gnashing teeth quite a bit, chins up to each other and showing their hackles too, with neither of them backing down. I have managed to stop them with my voice while at home but am not sure how this will go. Considering they have grown up together, I am not sure what hope I have. I have always felt one of them in particular is a bit iffy. I have a very large cage and no way of separating them. How should I let this play out? No injuries or bites YET!Thank you x
