Gizmo is 2 and he's a Peruvian. He came from Pets at Home as an Abbysinnian rolleyes then his hair just kept growing! Love him to bits of course, I'm well and truly a Peruvian person now!

Now...he's a bit bratty, he hates being groomed unless he has a carrot to munch on! His hair is a lot of work when its full, so we tend to keep him trimmed as he's just a pet pigger. He's a sweet little guy, but very cheeky, and he certainly lives up to his Gremlin name!

Can't blame you for keeping him trimmed - I bet it is a lot of work.
 
Fantastic pictures! I love the look of peruvians but as I still haven't picked up the courage to bathe mine (all short haired) I think I'll have to wait for one :)

Yes, he did look like an Abby when we first got him! Then it just kept growing...and it soon because quite clear he was not an Abby. We got him as a companion to our Abby, but they still got on great.

He's just lovely. Really wonderful. I have a couple of peruvians and yours is gorgeous. :)

He's lovely, and I think you're quite a good guinea groomer, if you could see the state of poor Woody this week after I've had a go at him with the scissors you'd see how good you are. I looked at him yesterday and had to tell him it would grow back, but he has a nasty habit of sitting in his wee. So whilst I try to keep the top layer long it sometimes has to have a trim.

I knew Woody was going to be a long coat when I got him from rescue, but I didn't realise just how long it would grow, and looking at Gizmo make me think Woody's possibly peruvian rather than sheltie, he has the same elvis quiff and a drama queen attitude when it comes to grooming.rolleyes
 
He is gorgeous! No wonder that you are in love with him!
