my boy Carrot is very poorly at the moment - full thread is here

He has been diagnosed with kidney disease and vet and I have agreed to monitor him over the weekend and discuss what to do on Monday. He isn't drinking or eating for himself. He shows interest in veggies but only has a couple of nibbles.
I am syringe feeding him CC and managed to increase his weight by 78g yesterday but he is still sat hunched in his bed. He is barely producing any poo and when he does go he produces this little blob of gluey mucus. it looks like a clear jelly type substance mixed with a minute blob of soft poo.
What is the gluey stuff and what does it mean?
