Gnawing safe brands?

Hiya! I know some of you might suggest hay and similar items, but I’m really looking for something more substantial for my younger piggies! They’ve been chewing on their cage bars early in the morning, and I’d love to give them something better to gnaw on. I did have hanging wood in their cage before, but it had to be thrown away since it was getting old and rough. If anyone has recommendations for a good brand in the UK or something from Amazon, I’d appreciate it so much!

Mine love willow balls, sweet bamboo, hay cookies and hay cubes. They also have small hollow logs that originally had dried herbs in that I now stuff with hay.
The hay cookies are a definite favourite and they love gnawing at them but they are very messy as they leave a lot of hay dust.

We have also had reported incidents of guinea pigs getting their heads stuck in Guinea Pig Toys such as loofah rings and toilet roll tubes. . This is easily solved by splitting the ring before using.

Thread 'Bar chewing'

So my girl Hetty has developed a new habit of biting the bars (it’s only started about 2 weeks ago) when I’m chopping up the veg. Now she is starting to do it at about the time for dinner - or when she thinks it should be. I’ve tried pushing her lightly down and saying no. She knows and even at the word no she gets down but then it starts again. I’ve also pegged up a tea towel to stop her as I don’t want to give in and feed her as she will then carry on doing it. Any more tips? It’s annoying now and I don’t want her to hurt her teeth (or ruin the bars).

I know this is 10 days late, but I found some really good priced willow balls on amazon, 9 for £12! Just arrived today and my girls absolutely love them, thank you for the recommendation on these things!
