We seem to be getting a lot of posts about poo problems ,

If you imagine you pig as a fermentation vat on legs, that could pretty much discribes a guinea pig.

Sadly they have very little dietary sense. The greedy little hogs will eat and eat what the find the most tasty.

I agree with you. We have got detailed dietary advice at the top of our food section, but of course we get a lot of newcomers or members that use our forum only in an emergency.
Any new owner coming on here is being furbished with our diet recommendations amongst others to help get them started.

But you also have to be aware, @gizzy, that this forum has got a high rating on google, so anybody googling a certain guinea pig issue worldwide is very likely to end up with at least one link to TGPF forum. We have noticed that these things come in waves; for instance, we obviously currently have got a diarrhea/poo issues wave, but we also have had a wave of people worrying about heart problems at some point etc. We get the same in terms of pregnancies.

Mites, ringworm, URI and UTI/bladder problems are firm regulars anyway. ;)

Thanks , it would help if Virgin meda wasn't driving me crazy.
l don't watch much tv , but when I do I like to choose the programs l watch.
ie I am a fan of 24 , and I was daft enough to think that I could get all the series in order to watch when I wanted .

Not so , every time I try to watch an episode , it sails of onto something totally different . At first I thought it was something I was doing wrong , but when a messenge popped up on the screen saying if this fault continues I should get an engineer out .

Easy , not lightly , l also have my phone with Virgin , and for some reason they decided to change
my number , and every time I called to report a fault , the operator would not connect me because I didn't
know my number :hb:

Then there is the new tv I bought , the picture goes on and off, suffice to say it is going back to the shop.

That coupled with a poorly pig and a pc tablet that replaces my words , at random

Anyway enough of my sad story . :lol!:
