I see you've tried to stop them making the great escape under the fleece? Have they been little rascals going under it yet?
 
Thankyou :) I do worry that I give them too much but I go by the cup full rule and that tray is very shallow is it does look piled up. There are 6 piggies to feed too lol.

Rachel, no they haven't been under the fleece yet lol, they have been pretty good about that :)

Kell That's Peri, she's my oldest piggy. She was dumped outside of a petshop a few years ago, a senior lady now. Still happy as larry and top of the pecking order :)

:hb: Some people me raving mad! :rant: It's a piggy not rubbish/trash grrrr poor peri :( but saying that look at what she's got now in one way it's a good job she didn't have to stay with her last owner she wouldn't of been this happy I'm sure. She beautiful :love:
 
Thankyou :) She's a lucky piggy. My friend rescued her and then I rehomed her from my friend when her situation changed and her and Tikka (dark longhaired) are the reason I got into piggies. My friend still loves the piggies dearly and gets lots of cuddles when she comes over :)

That's lovely, a sensible rehoming unlike peri's first owner grrrr.
 
Yeah since the pet shop Peri has been well loved, but sadly my friends circumstances changed. She still brings them veggies and treat's too :)
 
How did you come to have your other two girls Ruth? I know Mavis and Dory came from someone round the corner that didn't want piggies anymore and Mario was from the pets at home rehoming section.
 
Peri and Tikka came from my friend. I bought Chilli and Salsa from a pet store (I know bad, but before this forum I didn't know anything about piggy rescues) and then I adopted Mario and Rehomed Dory and Mavis. I wouldn't get from a pet shop again, although the one I did go to was a very reputable one which I've been going to for years in blackpool, very well looked after critters :)

My plan is to to save for another big hutch and the bits for it (second hand hutch hopefully as they will hopefully be indoor piggies one day) then just wait for sows in need of a loving forever home to pop up on my radar :) Then send Oreo to the vet ;) and once ok he can live with his lovely lady friends :)
 
That's a good idea. You can get some cracking hutches second hand :)
