I was devastated when I lost Barney a week and a half ago and felt so guilty about having to find Toby a new friend. I decided that I wanted to foster so once Toby has gone i can break the piggy cycle. Hubby is very clear that he wants his lounge back as the hutch and run takes up a huge space. However, Toby is going boar dating on 29th with @Stewybus at tees valley guinea pig rescue. Stewy has 2 baby boars, one of which is reserved for toby. They are currently 5weeks old and are little balls of fluff with legs. My heart skipped a beat when I saw a video of them. I havent told hubby about them as he likely won't let one in the house as he will know the outcome. I just have to hope Toby lasts long enough so that hubby forgets our agreement.
