Going from a water bowl to bottle

Hi guys!
Until now, I had water for my guinea pigs in a bowl. In our earlier cage, there was a bowl attached to the cage wall itself. In our new (MUCH BIGGER) one, we have kept a water bowl. But both of the guinea pigs keep dropping hay or food into it, which means I have to change it very often. Last night, the bottle arrived from Amazon. And I have attached it, but the guinea pigs are kind of scared of it. Like they are with any new object. I started bringing Pat towards it but she squirmed and ran away. I tried again and tapped the ball so some water dropped on her snout. She kind of understood. But they haven't drank from it since. (I put in the bowl last night so they wouldn't get dehydrated.)

Any help?

I would keep showing them where it. Still put the bowl in for now until you can see them drinking from the bottle. Hopefully they will start using it quickly.

They will pick it up.
Don't try and force them over to the bottle, just put it somewhere easy to access and their curiosity will get the better of them.

I already love this site! I posted this today morning and 2 replies already!
Update : about an hour after I posted the thread, Dumbly came over to the bottle and drank from it. And yes, he was so curious! Since then I've seen him drinking from it 3 times! I think he actually enjoys it. I think Pat has drank from it but I've not seen her do it.
