Hi everybody,
Not sure if I’m posting this in a right place or no, so I apologize in advance.
So two of my piggies have diarrhea/very soft and shapeless poops since yesterday.
Our usual vet is on holidays, and the vet that I saw today told me that there’s nothing alarming, maybe the pigs had too much veggies these days.
So she told me to go off veggies for a week and start reintroducing them slowly.
A week seems too long in my opinion, is it dangerous for the pigs to eat only hay and pellets for that long?

No it wont be dangerous as pellets are usually fortified with vitamin c. Our usual advice with soft poops (diarrhoea being runny/watery poo) is to stop veggies until 24-48 hours after poops have returned to normal. When you do reintroduce veg do it slowly in small amounts. Hsve they had anything new in their diets recently? And are they otherwise well (happy, bright eyes, eatjng and drinking normally)?
