The weather here has been so nice Elvis has had half hour on the garden, he has actually eaten some grass which is great.
I have not put the other two out yet but if its this nice tomorrow I might think about it, is it lovely by you as well.

If you have indoors piggies, you need to be very careful and hold your hand on the ground before you put your piggies out in order to judge the temperature. Spring weather can be so deceptive and you can easily end up with a cystitis.

AS lovely as the weather is, I am not putting mine out on the sunwarmed lawn until we have reached 15 degrees C.

yes its warm and sunny though it was very cold this morning. had to scrape ice off the car but spring is definatly on its way!

The one side of the garden gets full sun so the ground is really dry and quite warm, The main reason for putting Elvis out is to try and get him to eat something which seems to have worked a bit:)

Thanks for this. I am working at home today and was wondering if it might be warm enough to put the girls out. They are only 18 weeks old and have probably never seen the grass yet, but it probably isn't warm enough here yet for that. They will have to wait a little bit longer. I'll have to bring the grass in to them:-)

Roll on spring!

I was going to make a thread on this - when its going to be ok to let the piggys out for a bit - i guess its too cold at the moment. I cant wait to let my trio out for a bit!

Reading about your green lawns make me so jealous! We just got even more snow... Life is unfair! I can't wait until my leave in June. If the weather is nice I'll be out on the grass with my piggies 16 hours a day!

We had a very furry thick frost this morning and although the sun has been out and it's been lovely it's still incredibly cold and the ground is still wet and frozen in places so Roger won't be going out for quite some time yet.
