Going To Miss My Boys!

Hi all

I'm leaving my pigs in boarding for 10 days from tomorrow and I'm dreading it and I'm so worried about them and I'm going to miss them so much
Just needed to let it out and know that I'm not alone in this lol!!

Oh don't worry I always worry when I leave mine- though mine stay with my grandparents not a boarding service. I think it's natural to worry about your pets while your away because we love them so much. Try not to worry and enjoy your holiday because I'm sure the service will know how to care for them and think of it as their own small holiday.

Thank you guys I just hope they settle in well. The lady looking after them said she'll send me text updates- I hope they have a lovely holiday too!

They will be fine, although it is perfectly natural to be worried too.
We were recently away for 2 weeks, and our wonderful (and very understanding) pet sitter sent us regular updates including a couple of videos.
When we first met her to discuss pet sitting she asked us if we would like updates, and if so how often - naturally 'daily' was the reply!

Know exactly how you feel. My piggies go to a rabbit and piggy hotel and we get regular texts, photos and updates. But I still miss them terribly when I'm away.

We're all in the same boat as regards to leaving our loved ones with someone else for any length of time. Massive hugs to you, I'm sure they'll be fine and well loved xx
