with urgent cases I thought they were pretty much sorted within 24/48 hours?

I never heard anything back from the rspca, and I have a feeling that nothing was done about it, people have said to me that they take animals there for rehoming ?

This sort of thing makes me sick.People take these animals in and cant give them the care they need.

A for the RSPCA dont build your hopes up that they will contact you again. Its not very often they do not even to tell you they have been.

i feel very dissapointed that they haven't updated me, i don't know if they even inspected the sanctuary.
I may aswell tell you all now as you were all curious to know, that it was
Mistley Place Park Animal Rescue Centre, Mistley, Near Manningtree, Essex. Don't bother going you would be horrified.

I have heard nothing back re the farm I reported to the RSPCA either, wasnt expecting to really >:(

Can I just add I didnt hear anything back from the people I reported either :tickedoff:

U wouldnt believe the amount ov times Ive rung the rspca about things they really just dont seem to care has anybody seen that new program at 6.30pm on 5 its all about the rspca saying what a gud job they do. I used to live in the country b4 I met my lovely husband and moved closer to the city i reported a man re his horse loads ov times and also spoke to him the horse was so thin had nowhere to sleep and walked round in poo up to his belly every day then 1 day the rspca came out and the man decided to shot the horse I was really upset by this the RSPCA just turned to me and said at least i wouldnt have to ring them again what sort ov people r they :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

I'm shocked at the attitude of the RSPCA. :tickedoff:

I wish there was something else we could do about this place. :'(

We should all go there 4 the day boxes in hand and demend for them to let us take the poor things home with us

or a protest outside sorry it just makes me so angry :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

oh my god, that is so sad. those poor animals. :( What about contacting a local newspaper?

Well i drive, could we not just do what Kath says, just rescue them from the sancutary. I could home alot of them with me and look after them forever!

I agree with kath its jsut so horrible ive got steam coming out of my ears! x

Don't forget they may have visited, and they may of made changes, They just haven't got back to me to let me know.

Ive jsut been on their website, It looks great from the site, BUT looks can be deceptive.

Wis i did, I'm too far, tho was surpose to be going down to Sussex at the weekend to see family, could convince other half!

They already have gillypig, try reading the whole thread :)

I think you should get a local paper involved tbh, we all know the rspca area a load of poop, and yeah the place may have made changes, or they may not have, and the animals are still suffering!

they have a page on the website for guest book comments, i have noticed they are all good comments, they probably don't put up the bad comments.

The larger animals ie: goats, sheep horses cows etc: all looked well kept, it was the small animals in the rehome shed, and some of the enclosures that were sooooo old and dirty that i had issues with.not to mention rubbish(old wood, hutches, animal feed) dumped all around the sanctuary.

I think we need to do something as its just not acceptable. People often take their animals to a rescue because they love them and cant committee to them any more.As a rescue they should no better.

MDS- Have you heard anything form the RSPCA? xx

nothing, they may of inspected and they may of sorted things out, i have no conformation

It may be worth emailing all their links and telling them what a bad place it is and anyone who sponsors such a place as I am sure they would want their pictures etc removed!

You could ring the RSPCA And say that your sorry to bother them but you just wondered what had been done about the problem?!

God yes, do call the RSPCA and ask for an update. I feel like phoning that place and having a right go at them :tickedoff:

I reckon we should get a group of us to meet there and get the poor babies out....I"m sure people would.
