from a lady who has around 100 gps, which she has taken in over the years, rescues them and she has a few boys going for free, so my other half said "which I thought he would say no" that we could go up and have a look at them and maybe bring some home. Yippeeee. I am hoping that the lone boy can be neturered and put with the 3 girls and i think she said she has 2 older boys living together - i love the boars, so i am really happy :-)))

OOOH that's exciting! Is she in Wales too? (I am in Cardiff although no more guineas for me!)

Wow! Can't wait to hear what you're going to bring back!

I would love to have her details as I often get enquiries from people in Wales.

well I am back and we have brought home the three boys :) two who live together and one single boar. I haven't got any pics yet, but one is a teddy and brown and white and the other smoothed hair or crest and dark with white on his face and the other long haired who is white with a bit of orange. They all need a bathe as they are quite smelly and need their nails cutting, but apart from that they are lovely :) will bathe them now on the weekend, give them time to settle in. I dont think they have been in a run before as she had quite a few and she did admit that they dont come out as often as they should, so run time will be fun for them!

I was hoping to post some pics of the new boys tonight, but my other half has just rung to say he’s fishing now till Sunday, so I can’t put any pics of the boys on here. They have all settled in well and the first night they were eating carrots and their dried food plus hay, which normally the gps I have got in the past wont eat anything for a day or so. They are quite skittish though when you pick them up, but I think that is cos they weren’t handled much. We put them in a little run last night as we think by the sounds of it, they never went into a run. Unfortunately though the teddy one has a chest infection and his eyes are very crusty all the way around both eyes and he has fatty eye in both eyes, so he is on Baytril at the moment. We have named the teddy one Winnie, his cage mate, Pooh and the long haired one Henry :-) and they shall be getting a bath either tonight or tomorrow morning, so they will be all lovely and clean!
