My two boys. Dad and son both have ringworm. Not sure when it started but I found a spot on dad's ear and a spot by sons eye. I have moved the cages a few feet apart from Mom and daughter.

Dang. I know that I can treat with head and shoulders but what else do you reccomend? I'm prob going to do oral treatment being it's right on Lil boys eye lid. I'll post pics later. As if I'm not stressed out enough?!?

Ringworm is very contagious and can be passed to humans, so you need to be fastidious with your own hygiene as well as the pigs. I recommend a dip called Imaverol, which I believe is available in the States. You don't wash it off and it works in between treatments. It is very gentle on the skin and is the most effective treatment I have found for any fungal infection (I would use it over oral treatments, just for ease of use). It comes in concetrated form and you dilute it yourself. If the infection is on the face I would use a small brush to apply it so it doesn't get in the eyes, but also treat the whole pig, just in case there are other spots you haven't noticed.

That's the problem. Blaze has it on his eyelid or just above it. There is no way to treat it and not get it in his eye. I will look for the tx stuff. I know about the contagious aspect. We're washing hands and arms befor and after handling and using a towel to cuddle. I knew you guys would have the info I need.

I ordered imaverol. The prices were insane to get it. 250. from Canada. 75. from UK
I found it in Australia for less than $50. shipped but it will take 2 weeks. I can use a weak wash of Head and Shoulders to start treatment till the good stuff gets here. I will still prob do an oral course in Blazes case because it's his eye.
