This small brown stain around Abbey's anus is driving me crazy, so I made an appointment to take her in to a an exotic vet familiar with guinea pigs. It probably is nothing as she is totally normal. My question is, what do you do with the other piggy when you take one to the vet? They have never been apart before. I thought of taking them both but they would kill each other in the close confines of the pet carrier. It will be a 45 minute drive one way to the vets. I don't want to stress either one more than necessary.

I always take a companion "paw holder" piggy, whether it is on a trip to the vets or on a weekend at MIL's whenever a piggy is on daily medication. It is actually much less stressful to have somebody to squish up against during the travel than be separated.
