Gone from A-Z in a year!

As some of you know, I go through the alphabet when naming rescue pigs that come in, I started last January with 'A' (the red and white sheltie lot!), so all 10 piggies that came in got A names, then the first litter born to the pregnant ones were B, etc.

Well at the weekend, on the last day of Jan, I finally got to Z with little Zephyr

And now I need a new theme for the year - ideas please!

Crikey, you have had a lot of piggies this year and I'm sure they all appreciate their special names
When we are on long car journeys me and Bethany play "the alphabet game" we have lots of favourite subjects, but our favourite is:
Disney characters would be a nice idea, for example you could call a piggy Alladin, bambi, cinderella, dumbo, E.T. etc there are some fab disney names

Well done, that's a great achievement! I'm working on the alphabet too, getting there with both Pandora and Harrison being new letters but so many more to go.

I agree with Louise - just go back to A!

There are plenty of different things for names; places,foods & drinks, other people, celebrities, other forum users names, things you see round you (like snow which I can see falling outside now!). You can call them literally anything.
My current piggies all have names behining with P: Pinky, Poppy, Patch and Perky-RIP (who has passed over the rainbow bridge and is now free from pain forever)8...8...8...8...

I like the A-Z idea, but maybe with a theme - like the Disney one

Or maybe flower for the girls...Daisy, Poppy, Rose, Lily etc..
.. and Food for the boys... Pumpkin, Cracker, Peanut, etc..

My little family were Dad Basil, Mum Marigold, and their son and daughter were Parsley and Lavender.

That's very clever actually, I like that idea!
As for a new theme...erm...maybe celebrities? I'm not so keen on that but there are PLENTY names out there to choose from! Or be geeky and go for artists? |)

Names derived from song titles of your fave groups and singers?

Or you can take one continent and work your way through the alphabet with countries, places, food, specialities - that ahould keep you going for a few years until you've worked your way round the world!
