Just to prove that I am still alive and that the Tribe are doing OK, here is a little breakfast video:

Now I really am suspicious. It says breakfast 13/09/10 and today is 21/09/10. What have you done with Wiebke and the Tribe?:)

The curse of no internet access - I'd uploaded the clip on Friday evening for release over the weekend... mallethead

Unfortunately, uploading video clips onto photobucket takes AGES.
 
I thought something had happened to Llewi as he was missing, :( and then i played it again and he had just run away from the muching girlies in th beginning:(|)

Llewelyn is forever running off with any likely morsel - it's a leftover of his pre-rescue days... Taffy is usually not far behind!

Cariad is always the last one to arrive - every member has their quirks!

what is the hierarchy of the sows - i've always wondered? Nia is top pig, you've said before, but what is the order after that?

Senior sows:

Nia
Taffy ("mummy of the Tribe")
Nerys ("the TANK" who does her own stuff)


Junior sows:

Cariad (used to be the other way round)
Ceri

Telyn

Hafina
Ffowlyn

Ffion used to bottom of the top brass, even though she was an independent soul.

having seen them on the videos, i thought Cariad and ceri would be fairly high up. Taffy near the top - awwww. I remember seeing her as a timid wee thing with her baby at Helen's - doesn't time flyxoxo
i'll have to rewatch the videos for the interactions - it is so different to our lone boars who would rather bite each other's eyes outmallethead

That was great! The tribe are all looking as gorgeous and happy as ever! I look forward to the next episode!:)
 
Taffy has never had a problem with other piggies - she's definitely a "groupie" who is at her happiest with other piggies around; and that shows in the respect the others treat her with. Her daughter Telyn has inherited her sociable, even temperament. The two are the ones who truly get on with everbody. They are still very close.

Ceri is an endearling little busybody. I was sorely tempted to rename her my "butterfly" (Eilir) at one point! Cariad is the most timid, but she has gained a lot in confidence since her arrival and is currently busy throwing her extra weight around amongst the junior sows (though not on video). They were physically very small, thin and very nervous when they arrived and were no match for the top sows.

Hafina is now finding her feet and learning to stand her ground, unlike at the beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually moved a bit further up the ladder. Ffowlyn has spunk and ambitions, but she's currently the youngest...

Aww, that is so sweet and I love how you speak about them all. I too am chuffed that Taffy is near the top. Her character sounds very much like Erin's as she to loves being part of the group. She is third in line though as she wouldn't dare try and take Ellie's second spot :))
