Good Book?

After my learning curve today with things like boar glue I wondered if there are any good books you can recommend that get past "the need hay and are cute and fluffy" bit.

Hmmmm never found one so i will be interested to see what people suggest. I used to have the peter gurney books which were the best i could find but are they considered outddated now?

I found out more from experience and later online than I ever found out from books. I think this forum houses the Oracles. Perhaps we could encourage some of them to put pen to paper and publish a definitive guide?

Same here as for VickiA. I have yet to see a book or pamphlet on piggy care that mentions boar glue, sperm rods, penis hooks - all things my 2 boys have managed to present to me. When each happened for the first time I was in a mad panic wondering what they were & what, if anything, I should do about them. This forum always had the answer.

I've not even seen any mention of the poop eating either - first time I saw one of the boys do it, mad panic again until I researched online. From the enquiries I've seen on this forum about poop eating, I think heaps of new piggy owners get surprised by this!
