yes I still miss all my pets particularly my George, a bantam hen, she died 20 years ago, but lived over 8 years, she was ”the one” x Dug some photos out of her the other day, brought tears to my eyes x
 
This was a very painful year for me. I lost my beloved Dad in January, then shortly after his funeral I lost Poppy and then later this year little Angel (the neurological piggy). I’m sure my Dad will be looking after them and all the others who went before them.

Lots of hugs @VickiA ❤ this year was extremely extremely bad for me too. I don't even have the energy to go to the next year and want to end my life today but I know my piggies won't like it 😭 it's just so stressful
 
@Ritika I am so sorry you are feeling that way sending you my very best wishes. As an 'elderly person' I can tell you life is very up and down, there are times I have felt like you and thought things could never get better. They do get better, unexpected things happen for the good as well as bad. I hope things improve for you very soon.

Remembering Bracken who we lost in January and Spike who left for Rainbow Bridge in December. Run free darlings.

@Ritika as said life is full of ups and downs. Just try to work (slowly) through the downs. Take it one day at a time - if you make it to the end that is an achievement and give yourself a pat on the back.

I can't thank enough to all of the forum members to be here and talk to me. Sometimes I get so lonely and depressed that I come over and most of the time I love my time spending here. Thank u so much to everyone❤❤😭
 
This year was just Donald thankfully, I don't think we could handle any more loss after losing our first baby too. This decade is the decade I started in dedicated piggy slavery though so it has also seen the loss of Bea, Bumble, Peter, Jemima, Buddy, Isobel, and Willow. Miss them all so much as they were such individual characters
 
On reflection this year has been pretty tuff with regards to piggy losses, although we can also reflect that our beloved piggies that crossed the Rainbow bridge were all of a good old age and had been with us for some considerable years before doing so. Again using that word reflection, the memories they have left us, help in some way to mitigate the pain of them leaving us. - So tonight we will raise a Glass or two - Saffi xx, Tia xx, Hunter xx, Barney, Fred xx Nibbles xx and Uno xx.. but not forgetting Wallace :luv: & Gromit...xx Tim xx Toby xx Cooper xx Ouzo... xx who have passed over the bridge in years past..

This thread is to remember our loved lost piggies and reason we hurt is be because we cared and we carry on caring for our piggies still with us and need us as your piggies do.
