Junior Guinea Pig
Last Monday we introduced neutered Penny (operation a couple of months ago for health reasons) to our recently bereaved intact boar Crumble (aka Brwsi). They are both 5 years old. He’s never been with a sow and has either fallen out with or lost previous partners, most recently the lovely Pickles (RIP
). Penny previously had a neutered husboar who passed away. She’s quite a nervous lass. They’ve not fallen out and Crumble doesn’t constantly chase her around now, although when he does she eventually makes a longer squeak which stops him. Had to de glue him today to calm him down. They are mostly settled but not really together. Is it a question of time or is Penny just likely to tolerate Crumble rather than like him? Would appreciate insights. Our neutered bunnies are often snuggled together and groom each other.
