Hello,

I was just wondering what hay people are currently getting online which is decent and having success with? I am trying to work a few things out and potentially subscribe to someone.

I’m thinking either hay and straw company as they have had decent reviews on here overall with batches.

I know it can vary, but has anyone tried the meadow hay from hay and straw and what isit like in terms of softness?

I use ings hay from hay and straw and have done for over ten years. They are great.

I use timothy hay for soft, hay rack hay from Haybox. It goes down very well with the guinea pigs and the rabbits.

Yeah, oooops only got the meadow and the Timothy and rye from them! If no good I’ll try the ings, have you tried any of the others?

I also buy my hay from Hay & Straw Company.
Mine love both the Ings and the Meadow hay but weren’t too bothered by the Timothy & rye.
What’s their meadow hay like? Is it quite soft?

ive had a recent batch of meadow hay from them, its soft 50 per cent green. They do sample sizes. The ings hay which is meadow hay,but grown near a water meadow.its exceptionally good, green and long stranded.

I've just been converted to ings hay from the Hay and Straw co by reading forum reviews and my piggies love it. I have a monthly subscription with Haybox which has been mostly ok over the past year. I used to buy from Box full of Hay but their postage went up . Hope that helps

Hi @munchmonster just wanted to ask about the boxfullofhay please. Is their meadow hay soft for burrowing into? Thank you so much

Its meant to be dust extracted but there is always some 'settling' at the bottom of the box during transit :D
