Good heater

Can anyone recommend good heaters with timer and thermostat? My piggies are indoors, but as it is getting colder I leave the heating on for them, the problem with that is the heating is on all day and by the end of the day, it gets too warm - 24°C+ sometimes, and I like to keep them around 20 - 21. I can't control the temperature of the radiators.

I have seen portable heaters with timers and thermostats being recommend around here and it seems like a good solution, also more economical than blasting the heating on all day unnecessary and potentially toasting them. Does anyone if the oil filled ones or the electric ones are better?
 
I use petnap heated steel pads from amazon for my indoor piggies. It was a recommendation from here. They are mains powered and have the lead covered in stainless steel, so it's safe. They are on all the time and they can choose to sit on them or somewhere else if they're not feeling cold. They are brilliant and I can keep the heating lower in the room.

I used to have an oil filled radiator for them but it wasn't that efficient and I think the pads are a better option
 
Thanks for the recommendation, they look lovely. I checked them on Amazon and they have houses, beds and a tunnel. I think great idea for outdoor piggies as well.
 
They only have a fairly low level of heat but are clearly comfortable as they are very well used in winter. They are very cost effective because you're not heating a whole room. They can also avoid them if they're not cold. One of my boys has been sprawled on his pad much of the day and the other has avoided that bit of his cage.

I like to spoil my piggies, I bought a plug In wall timer and a heated cat bed. 2 puppy pads over the heated part and a blanket. It turns off in the morning and goes on at night. Doesn't get to hot& they LOVE it! They would try to demand it during the day 😂

My main concern is the big changes in temperature that I can't control. Sometimes their room is uncomfortably hot even to me, even with the door left open, when I get back home from work. The worst was 26-27 °C. The radiator is very efficient at heating the room well quickly, but I can't control the temp. I don't mind heating the whole room as long as it is at a more consistent temp and not too hot for them.
