I'm looking to make a herb mix for my piggies but I'm not sure what herbs are actually good for them. I've bought them a few before from Galens Garden, but it would be great to know the ones that can benefit their health, as well as the ones they love. :D

Yeah again parsley, coriander is usually a favourite all around. Mine also like thyme, sage, rosemary... just some herbs should only be given occasionally, but i think coriander is good to give a few times a week. I think i read parsley is rich in something so don't give them that too often

Corriander can be fed daily a small sprig each. Parsley, dill, basil and mint can be fed once or twice a week. Mine love parsley and dill especially but I only fed it once a week as parsley is high in calcium. Herbs like rosemary, thyme and sage shouldn't be fed due to the oils that are in them, the same goes for lavender. Small amounts won't do any harm but its something that should be fed regularly :)

Some piggies not touch dried mine aren't so keen but I know galens garden sell allsorts of dried leaves and things like apple, raspberry, blackberry, dandelion, parsley, nettle, celery stalks etc are fine I have used them in the past for the chinchillas but my piggies don't like dried leaves so much prefer them fresh :))

Thanks :) My piggies do like dried herbs so I think I'm on to a winner!
